In December we added two startups to the Access EIS Fund portfolio, co-investing alongside one of our angel investors in each case (for more on our super angels and our co-investment model, see our dedicated page).

Asterias

Asterias (formerly Lossbook) is an integrated platform for insured and uninsured losses. It aims to systematise and digitise all loss data at source, and enables seamless collaboration for policyholders, brokers, insurers, adjusters and lawyers.

Angel: Our angel partner in the round has an IRR of 33% and their previous investments include Cleo, Funding Circle and Bloom & Wild.

Total Round: approx. £500,000.

Different Dog

Different Dog cooks different meals for dogs every week and delivers them to customers, with a focus on using ingredients aimed at maintaining canine health.

Angel: Our angel partner in the round has an IRR of 56% and has previously invested in Elvie, PrimaryBid and TrueLayer.

Total Round: approx. £1,000,000.
